About us

The Santorini Film Festival brings a unique cinematic experience to Aegean’s heart. With a rich programme of screenings and educational workshops, the annual summer event serves as an interactive platform for locals, travellers, film experts and cinephiles. Hosted every year at the scenic open-air Kamari Cinema, SFF aims to celebrate the island’s cinematic heritage and highlight its natural beauties.

Filling every year Cine Kamari with a wide audience, SFF is already established as a summer event where cinema lovers, filmmakers and industry professionals meet on an annual date filled with cinema gems. Our screening categories include both short and feature films and documentaries and cover a wide range of genres. It’s the Festival’s core philosophy to promote upcoming talents from Greece and around the world and showcase the power of  independent cinema.

In addition, working together with the local community, we strive to promote the island’s cultural heritage and natural beauties. We are proud and honoured to do our part to bring Santorini’s history and traditions to the foreground.
